Position Title:       Marketing & Communications Coordinator
Reports to:            Sr. Minister and Director of F&A 

Neighborhood Unitarian Universalist Church creates and grows an inclusive religious community connected by love, spirit, and service. Neighborhood Church is seeking an engaged and passionate person with skills in website, social media, print publications, community engagement, writing, and research.

Communication is at the forefront of our Church- - from social media, to podcasts, live stream and print publications, we strive to use effective communication to engage the congregation and impact the larger liberal religious community of Southern California and across the country. We are looking to hire a part-time Marketing & Communications Coordinator to help us amplify and share our mission through content creation in multiple digital platforms. You will be responsible for manifesting our big ideas into concrete form, coordinating details, and executing on strategies needed to grow the church and shift culture. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will also handle logistics and implementation for our church events (both online and offline) and will interact directly with our congregation and community.

Hours: 20 hours/week  Flexible hours to be set during business hours with Sunday mornings and some weekday evenings required.

-Tech savvy and proficient with web design and social media platforms
- Fully aligned with our church’s mission

Some of your tasks will include:
•Creating weekly publications and social media executions as well as larger marketing and fundraising campaigns. 

• Researching special guests for podcasts, and curating interview questions and content.

•  Handling members support emails and engaging with our online community.

• Planning and executing in-person events and conferences. 

• Coordinating speaking gigs, interviews, and press requests for Senior Minister.
